Work done Report:
Cargo hold No-6 Hatch cover pontoon Aft Port Side 4wheel & Cargo hold no-5 Hatch cover aft port side 2 wheel.
- Cargo Hold No-6 Port Side Pontoon Cover Lifted By 4 Nos Hydraulic Jack, Each Jack Capacity 25mt.
- Lifted Hatch Cover Wheel 3” Above Track, Fwd. Part Wheel Secured with Welding Stopper.
- The Aft Part 2 Wheels Removed End Covers & Lock Plate.
- Removed The Wheel from Its Position by Puller & Placed on Deck.
- Rigged Down Wheel Manually, Removed Washer from Pin.
- Removed The Damaged Seal from Inner Side of The Wheel
- Removed Damaged Bearing by Heating Up and Hammering
- Cleaned The Same Area with Cotton Thoroughly.
- Assembled The New Bearing on Same & Lubricated.
- Renewed The Seal & Safety Pin
- Lifted Up the Wheel, Placed on Wheel Axis, Assembled Ship Supplied New Outer Bearing
- Assembled Back Wheel in Position, Fitted Back Lock Nut End Cover
- Jack Down the Hatch Cover & Removed the Welding Stopper.
- Taken Trial in Presence of Ships Staff Found Satisfactory by Ships Staff
- Total 6 Hatch Cover Wheel Fabricated with in 36hrs
